Why Utah Comes to Mr. John Macfarlane A Founding Lawyer of Younker, Hyde, Macfarlane
Proven Track Record
Mr. Macfarlane and the Younker Hyde Macfarlane team have handled more cases than any other firm in the state of Utah. We are especially known for taking on seemingly unwinnable cases that are too complex for other legal practices. Mr. Macfarlane has been lead or co-lead counsel in many seven-figure legal victories. For example, Mr. Macfarlane worked alongside attorney Ashton Hyde to secure a $5,000,000 jury award in a wrongful death case in 2021.
Mr. Macfarlane is especially known for his case evaluations and ability to obtain early resolutions. Our firm repeatedly attains substantial settlement offers without the need for protracted legal proceedings. Through his many years seeking early resolutions, Mr. Macfarlane has developed a deep understanding of what constitutes a fair settlement. If one is not offered, he does not hesitate to see cases through litigation and trial.

Clients Praise Mr. Macfarlane for His Work in Salt Lake City
My family had the pleasure of working with this firm following a tragic event. The firm was very good about answering our questions and explaining the process. Attorneys John Macfarlane and Mckay Corbett were empathetic and fought hard for our case. The paralegal Jill Bedford was also a true joy to work with. I recommend this firm to anyone who needs attorneys who will fight for your case like it’s their own family.View on Google
